anyone have a grand prix?

Found an 03 grand prix SE, fully loaded for about 14000 and they claim that they will work with the price.(remains to be seen) i was just wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about the grand prix?

14000 is too much for an 03 SE.

Plus, I thought SE was the lower of the 3 Grand Prix's (It goes SE, GT, GTP).

I bought a 1999 Grand Prix GTP in 2002 for ~10,000.

don't do it, for 14000 you could get a way better car than that. Thats ridiculous

My family has had two - my dad's car, that I learned to drive in, and the one I had now. It just kinda happened that way.

I'm not a car person, but my only complaint is that the transmissions seem dodgy in the Grand Prixs after a few years. My dad had to have it replaced on his (a '95) and mine is making some suspicious noises (a '00).

My experience was with I believe it was a 95 or so.... it was junk.

The 3800 motor is bulletproof. Look around, that seems a bit high for a base model. Get a GTP!

I leased a 2000 Grand Am GT for 4 years and liked it, and now I own a 2005 GTO, and love it. However, neither is a Grand Prix...

They're about the same as any American car. Decently reliable for 100,000+ miles but nothing special.

well im not actually looking to pay 14k for it, no way i would, im hoping to get them down to 10 or 11, i dont want to spend more than that. Ill wait for the end of the month they will want to sell it then. The dude just kept saying dont worry about the price we can work with it, because i told him that i didnt want to spend more than 11 or 12. The car only has 44000 miles on it too so i figure thats not too bad.
