Anyone have a GP2X?

Relatively new handheld that people are developing psone emulators for. Apparently they have Final Fantasy VII running pretty well on it already. The gp2x unit is a linux based handheld designed specifically for homebrew applications. Heres the site for it. Anyone have any experience with these? I am considering ordering one because handheld ps1 games would be nice.

btw- if you read about this, most of the games on the PSX emulator run less than 10 FPS IF they run at all. Do NOT get it just to play PSX games.

Wow that is pretty cool...

May just have to get one of those.

Are there any specific specs on it? CPU speeds, memory, display resolution, etc.?

There's a PocketPC PSX emulator. My old X5 won't run it but I understand that the new PPCs will run them at pretty good framerates (20-30fps).

Before we all start crying:

Keep in mind this thing is under $200USD. It is meant to do 2d emulation (open dev) and video playback.

One of my friends bought one that arrived yesterday, he loaded a few psone games on it and they actually ran pretty decently, FF7 looked pretty good (still laggish in fights and whatnot). It has 2 200MHZ cpu's afaik. Also its already got a working ps1 emulator and its been out since November I think so there is still a lot more that they can do.

I looked at this before it came out.

Just curious, what would it have over a PSP that can play homebrew (bios 1.50)?
Both can play movies, emulators, ect... Because at that price point a new GP2x is in the same ballpark as a used PSP.
