Looking to register for a blender, and from reading recommendations on amazon, can't decide on one. Anyone have a really good blender...any suggestions (Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart....)?

Thanks,

mf

What are you ganna use it for?

If you are going to use it to make health drinks and the like you can't go wrong with the CUsenart or kitchen aid.

Mixed drinks just buy the cheapest damn blender you can find because you or one of your lush friends will drop it and break the pitcher.

kitchenaid is a good brand...I suppose anything that costs some money would be good...but then again, I have one that I paid like 20 bucks for about 5 years ago and its still going strong...oh..but make sure its a glass one...plastic melts in the dishwasher

My wife has managed to break every blender we have ever owned. I would need something with at least 15 HP, titanium blades and a stainless steel holder thingy.

Good question. I broke ours a few weeks ago. I'd say go for one of the $100 ones if you plan to keep it for a while. Our $50 blender was showing its age (five years?) when I broke it I was decent but not really, really good (ice was an effort). I'm hunting for one right now. Google is your friend.
