So the round head part of the piece that would normally go into the car charger to charge my Garmin c320 apparently fell off at some point in the past week. I'm looking to replace this item, but I'm not exactly sure what was in there in the first place.

Does anyone know if there was a spring in there as well?
I have a head from a cheap cell phone car charger that screws on well to the Garmin. Should there be any problem using this as a replacement?
