Anyone have a Cingular Go-Phone?

When you signed up, at what point did it tell you your phone #?

I signed up last night.... Went through everything until the Activation Complete... Then all it does it bring me to the next screen when i need my # to login... That would be nice if it told me... So i waited for an email, nothing...

Gonna call em now, but did this happen to anyone else?

just call them, they're usually quite helpful.

oh, if you dont get the result you want after your first call, try again and get another service rep. some of them are idiots.

if the phone is activated just call someone with caller ID to get your number, that'd be much simpler.

Well i cant add money to the phone, you need the # to do that.
I cant contact the normal CS, you need the # to login to the system.

Im now on hold w/ sales 🙁

And this is a backup phone on my Cingular normal plan, just bought through Go-Phone for no contract and i need to activate for the rebate ($29ar)

Well this is making me want to remain a customer... Sales has hung up on my twice now when i tell them i am not looking to purchase a new phone....

tmobiles prepaid is a much better service IMO.... I had cingulars go phone and prepaid and tmobile is much better (I had problems all the time with cingular and their service blows).

If you guys would read the thread, i AM NOT USING IT FOR THE PREPAID SERVICE.

I know but i had the go phone too (which sucked just as much as their prepaid). Granted tmobile doesnt have a go phone like service others probably do (cingulars go phone and prepaid were managed in pretty much the same way which was my point that they suck).
