Anyone have a CC with Household Bank?

I'm 25 years old, and didn't do so well with my credit when I was a bit younger. It wasn't that I had a ton of debt, it's that I was stupid for not paying off what little stuff I had (I'm talking less than $800 here).

I've been trying to get my credit back into shape lately, and one way that I've been doing that is with a credit card I've had for about 7 months. I've kept a balance on it, and have always been paying atleast $100 a month (this is what I've heard is good, I'm sure some of you will disagree). With my current CC, I get a horrendous 30% APR, but no membership or annual fees anywhere to be found. Just a flat interest rate, and that's it. And with the small balance I'm keeping, 30% is really nothing to me.

I had hoped of keeping up with this CC until a better offer came along, then work my way until I can actually pick what credit card I want (trust me, I applied for a few about 3 or 4 months ago, nobody will have me). Well, that better offer has finally come along, with Household Bank. No fees, 0% interest for 12 months, 11% APR after that. Plus, no fees on transferring my low balance with my current CC. I've read through the fine print, and figure this is just the offer for my next step towards redeeming my credit.

I'd plan on opening this account and closing the one I have now. While I don't really care if this is a good or bad credit move, I'm wondering if anyone here is pleased with Household Bank. I hate my current CC company/bank, as anytime I've ever called, I've had to speak with Indian people, and their website is non-existant. I can't even look at my recent transactions online :(.

Thanks guys.

A credit card is a credit card. The only difference among them are the rewards you get and the customer service you get as well as any other offer. In the end, however, all of them pretty much have the benefits for non-liables purchases and such. Open a new account, but do not close your other account.
