I'm thinking about buying one, narrowed it down to Alpine,Clarion,or Kenwood. Any place with good reviews of these? Advice?

A firend of mine got the alpine one and it is pretty cool. The thing reads teh ID3 tags pretty quick too. I am not sure which model he has, but he spent 300 total on it..

this is the model i have installed in my car...been running it for the past 6 months...i would say this product is the supported MP3 unit out there if you're in the LA county area i dont mind meeting up and showing what it can do.

I have been kinda leaning towards that model, although I would rather go with alpine/clarion/kenwood.

Problem is that alpine and clarion mp3 players are about 500, I don't wanna throw that much cheez down.

This player by Kenwood I can get for a bit cheaper than the one you recommended, but I like the look of your JVC much better. Plus yours has a remote....

I would like to know where your "friend" got an Alpine MP3 player for $300. Cause I'll take 2 of them
No way it was new unless hot to the touch.

I myself bought the Blaupunkt San Jose. Not the worlds greatest, but looks decent, plays mp3 and wma, track seek, Id tags,
I like it. $300. from crotchfeel....Thx Santa.. :)
