anyone have a cap of the liverpool goal against chelsea?

no idea if it went in but if not it should have been a penalty to Liverpool and possible red card for Petr Cech. ITV's camera angles (UK Broadcaster) were awful - if SKY or BBC had shown the game then maybe we'd have a better idea. Did ESPN take the feed from ITV or have their own cameras at the game?

But if the ref lets advantage be played and Liverpool doesn't score, he doesn't get to give them a penalty. Hard to tell, but if it isn't a sure goal, then it shouldn't be counted.

If the ref/linesman isn't sure then they shouldn't give the goal. I think refs can now play advantage and bring play back if no advantage is gained (similar rule to rugby). Not sure if this is actually updated in the rules of the game but many refs have been following that kind of common sense this season
