I'm an electrical apprentice and thinking of getting my bachelors in construction management at the same time. I'm wondering how much this will help me.
I already have an AAS. And I plan on being a master electrician as soon as i can.
just looking at my options, seeing whats out there.

ideas?

It can't hurt, and construction management isn't very tough to learn, I'd say do it.

I had a friend who majored in construction management in college. He got a sweet internship in San Francisco one summer, which turned into a high-paying job after college. I'm sure the emphasis on electrical would help too - it would give you that much more relevant knowledge. That said, the 'management' part will be more personally profitable than the 'construction' part.

The only down side I can see to a degree in CM is that right now, the construction industry is in the toilet. How long it will last is anyone's guess, but one of my adjunct college instructors who has a Master's in City Planning with a BS in Construction Management just lost his full-time job when the land development firm he's worked for over the past 10 years just closed its doors.

I may go get one after my other degrees. I am sort of collecting them I guess. By the time all is said and done I should have a finance BS with a math minor, a construction management BS, a CMA cert. I am having trouble finding a "good" program for CM. It is very difficult to tell what youre getting for your time & money.

dang what part of the country? commercial or residential? We dont advertise and we cant handle the bidding of everything coming in, and we only even look at the jobs we would want to do. I cant imagine trying to bid everything.

Chances are you will make more and retire earlier as an electrician than a PM.

PM for an electrical company.

A PM will not pay into a IBEW pension fund and field Supt or formen often make more than PMs.

Pms have commented more than once that I make more than they do, oh well :)

PMs are overhead and should be paid accordly
