i just got one in. This system is being a piece of crap right now because of problems with king max ram, and my power supply undervolting, so those are problems i need to fix first. but if anyone else has a b0 stepping , how did yours do at default voltage, and how did it do at any other voltage.

Hi, I have a B0 stepping 2.53. Check my sig for the full specs on my system but here's how it's going so far:

Right now it's stable at 2.85 GHz (150FSB) at default voltage. My mobo (GA-8IHXP) undervolts vcore, so the reading in Windows is about 1.450 V both normally and while under load (I'm running Prime95 as I type this). Meanwhile my Enermax 450W is keeping things steady at 12.1V and 5.16V. I had to turn on the RIMM overvolt, however, for stability, and I also have Vagp set to 1.7V. I haven't seen how well the All-in-Wonder likes that in anything except games at this point, however.

I'm not sure if I should push further because this mobo doesn't have AGP/PCI lock...

Hans...Are you sure it is the power supply undervolting ir the mobo??? MOst non-asus mobos seem to undervolt...

Test power supply on another mobo....My asus mobo overvolted vcore by .03 and had a 12v at 12.1v and they would drop under load....The my Epox mobo undervolts vcore by .06-.07 yet the 12v is at 11.84 and rises to 12.04 under load....I think we are at the mercy of some of these mobo makers...

mine is undervolting A LOT though.

my friend has the same board with a 1.6A @ 2.13 and same problem. its a soltek 85mir. like he's getting 1.46 volts idle, and 1.41 load prime 95.

mine with the 2.53 at 2.53 is 1.45 idle, 1.39 load. they are both stable, just i cant really o/c at all. so i'm thinking maybe a new power supply is in order.

and yeah i do get CPUs a lot, its a hobby. lots of hardware is always flowing through my house (my dad works at an oem too, so sometimes he brings stuff home).
