I have a IS7-E and have not been able to get this 6800gt to works at all.

This guy on new egg was saying that the card was just not compatible with his motherboard IS7 Abit.

So before I send this card back for another I would like to see if anyone has been able to get it to work on a IS7 series MB.

If lots of people are having compatibility problems with this MB then I might just have to go with ATI. Either way it's gong back today so the big question is, what do I replace it with?

Also it appears that they don't have the brand I bought anymore "Albatron".

They only have this one.

XFX Geforce 6800GT 256MB

It's more than what I paid so I guess they will charge more to my card. Also I paid for 2day air so will they ship my reorder with a 2day air also?

Why don't you tell us exactly what's happening. All you said is that it doesn't work. I find it very unlikely that this motherboard is not compatible with the 6800GT. Maybe if you give us more info someone might be able to help you. BTW, did you connect the power adapter to the card?

Well I got the card last week. Uninstalled the 9800 drivers and used a driver cleaner then installed the 6800gt. I tested the card by running the two 3DMark programs then aquamark and my scores were really bad. 3Dmark05 was even worse than with the 9800 pro. Then I ran a couple games and got all kinds of artifacts and lock ups just like I did with the programs I mentioned.

After that I defragged and ran the driver cleaner again but still no luck. So I ended up deciding to just reinstall windows and try again. Still no luck. So I checked the power wires from the PSU to make sure that the card was getting power all to itself and it was. My psu is a Ernmax 460 BTW. So I took the card out and reinstalled it again but I go the same thing. Out of ideas and I don't want to get the same problem with a new card.
