Looking to get something for running, i have a Note 2, so ya thats not going to happen ha.

If anyone has one and runs with it, is there a lanyard or something that works well if you don't have a pocket?

My wife has a 7G Nano that she runs with. She got a cheap case (rooCase I believe) that has a clip on the back so you can simply attach the iPod to your shirt or pants. I have also used it on a few runs and it seems to work pretty well.

Besides that, the only thing I will say is that Bluetooth headphones are almost a necessity if you want to use this for serious running. Trying to navigate a small touchscreen while running sucks terribly at best (and plain doesn't work if you have sweaty fingers) and is probably unsafe as well.

Hmm thanks, ya kind of on the fence about it i like that it has a FM radio in it, probably the biggest selling feature for me.
 
Ordered on it will be here today from Amazon and a Nike + watch, will give it a test run later today. I got the rooCase to, seems decent for it. I already have in ear Dre Beats to use with it.

Is the Nike+ watch able to control the iPod functions?
