I don't have much money but I want a little boost in my music. I saw a 5 channel model T510 on Ebay for about $60. It's 700 total watts. I would like to know if anyone has this amp or the any model that TIS Audio makes. Would like to know the quality of the music when it's hooked up.
Thanks.

Always look at the distortion @ rated RMS power and ignore "peak" watts, it's a useless rating.

Like most electronics, with amps, you get what you pay for. There's a reason that a 700 watt (RMS) 5 channel amp from any mainstream company costs $400+. Granted, being in a car means you may not hear the distortion at the volume levels you listen at. Still, don't expect to be blown away by your sound system.

A link to the amp listing would help us determine it's quality.

I would buy the old school MTX amps (2300x, 275x, 4300x, etc...) They are very high quality and underrated because people used them in competitions. MTX knows this so they underrate them by a huge margins

Please enlighten me on this more. Do I look for lower numbers or higher numbers?
Thanks.

Lower numbers are better, if you see an amp that's rated@ 300W but @10% distortion, avoid. That level of distortion would be unbearable not to mention what it would do to mids/tweeters. A lot of cheaper car amps will not list RMS power at all, just "700 watts!" but the usable output will be far lower than that..

Do yourself a favor. Tell this trader what you are looking for and I am sure he has a good used alternative that will be MUCH better quality for the $$$. I have not purchased from him personally but he has been around the FSFT forums for a while. He has an unreal assortment of used quality amps. Good Luck!!

AMPS!!!
