I've had the 18" planar from dell for over a year...no complaints.

We use the 15" planars and I have to say they seem to be very nice.

Well, considering the two replies have been regarding LCD montitors -- and not plasma as you requested, I guess there's not a lot of Planar plasma owners out there.

I haven't had a chance to see this new planar yet. Specs are very similar to Gateway's Ultrabright 42" (don't confuse with standard Gateway 42).

Contrast is the most important spec to look for in plasmas (though to be honest, specs tell very little overall).
