Anyone happen to ever submit sports cards to be graded?

I have a nephew who wants to have his trading card graded as a Christmas present. I noticed that PSA charges a fee to have a membership? Its only 1 card he wants graded (a cheapie one at that), so anyone know of any other graders that are more reasonable for just 1 card? Thx in advance.

I wouldn't send it anywhere. I'd take it to a local place and watch it carefully.
