Anyone had to get replacement side grips for an iPaq?

The rubber grips on the side of my iPaq 2210 (still in warranty) are knackered- bubbling, cracking and peeling away.

Has anybody had any experience in getting replacements? I can't afford for the unit to be sent away as I use it daily for GPS navigation duties, so I need to get them sent to me.

Of course, I'd ask HP this, but in the UK they're shut on weekends :|

Any suggestions guys?

I've seen those before, but I'm not paying $40 for a piece of anodised metal that a) won't feel the same as the rubber grips and b) will cost me.

I mean, it's still in warranty, so HP's going to be paying for this.

From what I googled around, everyone seemed to say that the replacements are the same crap rubber as what's on there now, so they'll just continue to wear out~

Damnit.

Still, if I can get them to agree to send them out, then it's all a moot point, as I have an extended service plan on it.
