Anyone had luck getting The Sims + expansions to run in Linux?

I am curious if anyone has gotten Windows versions of The Sims with the expansion packs to run under Linux? I know TransGaming makes the software that allow you to play, but it makes no mention of the expansion packs at all. As of right now the only reason I need to boot WinXP is so my fiance can play the game

I'm curious about this too.

Especially since from what I've read, The Sims in Mandrake Gaming Edition is not identical to the Windows CD-ROM (although the game is by all accounts the same). It is a custom OEM'd version that has official support from Transgaming.

From what I understand, the Windows CD-ROM won't work (I don't know if this is a CD protection issue). So offhand, it seems a bit sketchy to think the expansion packs will work without any extra work or support from Transgaming.
