Hello,

Hope this is the right section. I bought the new Samsung note 3 few days ago and since this is my first samsung phone i created a samsung account using gmail.
But the weird thing is when i try to log in to the gmail account i created, it says the password is incorrect. Did i miss something here?

I tried to sign in and out from the samsung account to see if the password is correct, and it works. So now when i try to get into the samsung verification it sends me to gmails website. But there my password doesnt work at all.

I must be really stupid if i missed something... I would appreciate any help!

Thanks!

What do you mean by " i created a samsung account using gmail"?

Samsung accounts and gmail accounts are different things.

Personally I wouldnt bother with a Samsung account, I cant think of any functional reason why you'd need one. Stick with Google services and steer well clear of any Samsung hubs or backup options.

Ah sorry for not being too clear. I didnt know that you could skip the option of creating a samsung account.
At the start up it asked me to create a samsung account and i made one called ...@gmail.com
So i was confused when it asked me to verify my account and sent me to gmail.com since i cant log in there to accept any verification

Thanks

No worries mate. You're all set up with a Google account?
I'd disable all the Samsung hubs, sharing and backup options in the app management bit as well.

The only need for it is to claim all the goodies!

I can't remember all of them but I remember $25 Google Play credit, 50 GB Dropbox for two years, 3-month Hulu Plus, and several others.

disabled all the samsung crap on my note. You don't need their accounts other than using it to claim the free gifts and whatnot.

The most useful one is the google play credit. :)
