Anyone had Hobie sunglasses?

I found a great sale price ($60 for glasses that retail for $120 to $150) on a pair of Hobie polarized glass lens sunglasses that I like, but I'm curious how good of a brand Hobie is? I can't find a lot of opinions online about the brand. I found a very similar style to the Hobie glasses I like by Smith Optics ($150), and another by Ray-Bay ($105). Both of those are a little more expensive, but I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra money. If Hobie is a quality brand, I'll just save the money and get those on sale. Please don't turn this into a thread bashing purchasing expensive sunglasses. So any opinions on Hobie sunglasses?

I've found taping iPods to my face does a much better job of keeping the sun out of my eyes.

PS search on Google.

Of course I searched on google, I can't find any opinions though. Google just leads me to a bunch of retail sites like it always does. There are a few in google groups, but not a lot.

If you can't find much in Google, you're probably not going to find much here.

Google > OT

Yea, nothing. But I can't find reviews of any of the sunglasses I'm looking at there, or most sunglasses outside of Oakley for that matter.

I heard they're decent if you don't want to pay the extra $ for ones like Bolle/Rayban.

Most of them aren't much cheaper. The metal frame Hobie's are all like $130-$160. The one's I'm looking at are metal frames.
