Anyone had hands on with a Chromium build yet?

I tried an older beta and it was *really* bad. It was extremely slow and it was basically like having chrome running full screen and not being able to do much else at all.

I applaud google making an os but they have their work cut out for them IMO.

How long ago was that? Maybe the current version is better
 
It was whatever the build was previous to the current one listed which was compiled in February.

I don't have a 64-bit cpu so I can't compile the source code myself. If you have that option I would reccomend it; just let it go overnight because it will take a long time.

The newer versions are probably better. Based on what I saw, though, I don't like the direction of the project whatsoever. This is coming from someone who doesn't like Chrome as a browser though, so YMMV. GL
