Been toying with the idea, curious to hear any firsthand experiences... is it the magic bullet that does nothing other than remove the ability to reproduce? Or are there libido changes, etc..?

Uh...no. It's not that complicated a procedure to where any doc worth his salt would eff it up. Your friend has been cuckolded.

I've had it done. Took about 10 minutes, not much pain, not much swelling, though I have heard some guys really swell up for a while afterwards.

Wife has not gotten pregnant.

yes, no

several other factors:

My wife (& GF's before wife) really appreciated the fear of pregnancy was gone after I was snipped, helps keep things spontaneous.

Who would you rather see fertile & frightened to screw around? You or your wife?

Swelled up.. where? Isn't the tube they snip internal? Or is it in the scrotum? Either way, what are your experiences regarding libido, strength of climax, etc - anything related.

It's still possible shortly after the procedure because of tadpoles living upstream of the snip, but not 8 months later.

Had one a last year. Was done as an office visit. No major pain and only minor discomfort.

Are you sure you had it done or was the doctor just playing with your balls? :D

Here's the deal. Been there, had it done. Hurt like someone was crushing them in a vice...way up in the gut. Seems like I'm the rarity on this one. BUT you should still milk it for a week. Also, it works at least three days later...no pain...no gain.

Birth control should be used for a month at least. After stitches are removed all is good. I don't regret doing it.

There are non-surgical vasectomys now. Small puncture, no incision, no stitches.

Normally they do a sperm test afterwards to confirm that your boys are no longer on active duty.

Yup, no issues with drive

Took it real cool for the week as per docs instructions but I don't think I needed to, but better safe than risk complications. Going to the dentist is worse.
