Anyone had a fence installed recently?

If so, mind sharing the footage and cost? I've gotten several quotes, ~250ft of fencing. Of course, every one of them said they would negotiate prices with me as well.

Looking at privacy fencing, both wooden and vinyl, but damn, vinyl is expensive.

Around here it's $12 - $15 a foot for cedar. I've seen redwood advertised at around $15 but I am skeptical.

I'm getting quotes for ~$20/ft. Your estimate is much closer to what I thought.

My guy used to be in the next county. We'd bring him the haul about every three weeks or so. He's great to deal with; no BS, pays cash, no questions and nothing comes back to haunt you. He recently moved about a quarter mile away from me! Now it's great...I don't even rent the storage unit anymore! Straight from the scene to his place; COD, baby!

Mine was $27ft. That was for 3/4" double sided cedar with concrete and stainless hardware. The ceadar was rough cut to a true 3/4"..... the fence is like a brick wall and will last a life time if you hit it with a good preservative every 6 to 8 years.
Now if you are talking a cheap Home Depot fence it should be way lower.
