Anyone hack the Logitech z-560's? (for home stereo use)

Hi,

I was just listening to these BEASTS and I was wondering if there was a way to hook the SUB directly up to the sub-out of the receiver. I'm thinking this is possible by finding the correct wire in that DIN cable going into the sub... but I'm a little scared to cut open the wire and experiment!

So, has anyone done this? These things POUND! I've already gotten a noise complaint against me for testing these things! Damn neighbors! 😛

Thanks for the help! I'm sure someone here has had the same thoughts!

Yeah these things are VERY clear and LOUD volumes...

I'm not sure whether your mod is possible because both connections are pretty different.

Hrmm... damn... you're right about it having a different connection... but I would think it be possible... I just wish I had the balls to start cutting wires and playing! I'm not a rich man... just got out of college... me POOOOOR 🙂

Well, anyone else have any ideas on this? These things are probably better then most home theater setups! Would be nice to use until something better could be bought!

Thanks!
