What was the process like? Do you just go thru the process like you are in high school? do you have to do General Ed classes over again?

Not me, one BS CS degree was enough :)

What do you have and what are you thinking of? Either a masters or some certificate program might make more sense than a second bachelor's degree.

Pretty sure your gen ed classes should be mostly taken care of already. It really depends on the school.

if you went for one liberal arts degree there is no use in going back for a second unless its going to be engineering or math related, gl!

This is unheard of, but you know, I have heard rumors about this. They rank up there with the Yeti, Loch Ness, and Chubracabra. I think they call it "Grad School."

You would already be core complete for your general college classes. All you would have left to take is your major classes and other other classes specifically required by the program you are pursuing.

are you allowed to go for a 2nd degree ?

does it have to be at the same school or can you choose a different school ?

let say one majored in math and got a BA/BS at school A. can one go to lets say School B and and get a BA/BS accounting degree ?

I didn't "go back," but I got a second degree. Took me four years to get a B.A. Stuck around a fifth year and got a B.S.

So I don't know the process for getting in to a new school after being gone for a while. You shouldn't have to do the general stuff again though.

I don't know about getting a BA but that is a very common scenario for getting an MA or PHD (in a completely different field).

I'm confused. Are we talking about grad school or a second Bachelor's. Or either one.

Clarify OP.

Some people do nonmatriculation (coursework without degree) and later do grad school or med school.
