I sent off my rebates for the D70 and SB800 almost 2 months ago and their website nikonrebates.com shows not received yet. I sent them an email and here is their response:
Your rebate status will not show on the customer service website until it has been processed. It takes at least 4-6 weeks to be processed (a bit longer during the busy holiday season).
You may see another product on the site with the same serial number as your submission. Serial numbers are only unique within product. That is why sometimes you see a different person with the same serial number.
After allowing for processing time (4-6 weeks) you may check back to nikonrebates.com periodically to see the status of your rebate claim.
