Anyone got closed loop water CPU cooling in a HAF X?

Just interested about how much hassel a H80 /H100 or similar would be to fit in the top fan bays or if they fit at all without modding.

Based on these two images it looks like you could mount the H100 in the top inside of the case. The stock fan(s) are on the outside of the case.

If you look at the rad mounting screws in the above photo you'll see in the below photo they are not being used. You could use the outer four fan mount screws on the H100 to mount the rad. You could then just fly with the stock fan from the HAF X or mount additional fans below the H100. Blowing out of case would work best as the airflow is plenty in the X

The H80 most like you could just mount to the back of case. Swap 140mm to 120mm mount rad to it bolt on back as exhaust. Add second 120mm on inside of H80 as exhaust. Push/Pull out the rear of case. Airflow is good so no need to do the suggested intake.

The H100 shouldn't be a hassle and its design allows you to do the top fans in push pull under the lid but above the chassis to avoid clearance issues(Using the much bigger 200mm fans as an example). It supposedly has the 100% exact screw holes you need to mount it.

The H80 I have installed was pretty simple. The rear fan port has support for several size fans and installation was a cinch.

I have a 240mm rad that is pretty thick and I have the Gentle Typhoon 1850's installed pushing air up through the top of the case. I didn't even need to remove the big fan because its in the top section of the case. A closed loop should be even easier because the tubing is slimmer. To install the rad, just remove the top cover of the case but be careful not to pull the wires off while removing it. I suggest you get someone to help you hold the cover/rad while you install it. It was fairly easy for me and there is plenty of clearance to route cables behind the rad and hide it. If you want a picture of my setup, just let me know. :)
