I was on the Soltek site, I am planning to plop a 2400+ in my DRV4 but according to this I might not be able to.

so my question is.. does anyone have a 2200+ or greater in this mobo? if I can't put a 2400+ in this thing, I am going to grab a new P4 Soltek mobo and a 2.0A

thanks everyone.

Go to Soltek's site and to the faq section, look under the SL-DRV4 and you will see this along with other info:

Q Does SL-75DRV4 support Athlon XP 2200+, 2400, and 2600+?

A SL-75DRV4 supports Athlon XP 2200+, 2400+ and 2600+ if its PCB version is later than P4, however the latest BIOS K4.1 still can't recognize the Athlon XP 2400+ and 2600+ processors. We will release the new BIOS as soon as we finish its BIOS compatibility test.

Check your PCB version first, and then email Soltek to show your interest in a new updated bios, cause as you know, there hasn't been an update since April. I want an update too cause I'd love to plop down a 2400+ in my board.

I bet they just put that on their site, I did not see that before.
Excellent though... I'll keep the board and wait for a BIOS update.
