ANYONE GOT ADVICE!?!

My backgound consists of Computer Programming (BS in Computer Science). I wanted to get into something other than programming, and I am interested in internet design. However, before I dive into the CIW, I wanted to know a few things:
1) Does the CIW consist of a lot of programming? (such as HTML, Funpage 98, Fusion, E-commerce, etc.)

2) I know a little bit of Java, I am also interested in the Applications Developer program (Java, Javascript, Perl, etc.) Do these involve a lot of programming as well?

3) Overall, is this certificate worth it?do employers seek CIW skills?

I have no problem with programming when it comes to designing applications (ex: text boxes, buttons, etc.) or use drag and drop programming such as Visual C++ and Visual Basic. I just get annoyed dealing with complex programming.
I?d also appreciate a brief summary of what Javascript is all about. Please give me some input, Thanks. Please e-mail me or reply.

I'll answer this question, but you are in the wrong forum. This is a hardware forum.

Anyways...If you want to get into web design, there is still a lot of programming involved. Unless you are artistic. Then you can actually do the design part which requires no design. Just a lot of drawing and layouts. You can get into ASP, ASF, Java, HTML which are still prgramming languages.

I reccomend either PHP or ASP. PHP is an extension of C++ (and used to be a Perl hack) and ASP is more of an extension of VB. They are good languages to make good, functionable websites.
