iam planning to stick one on a old socket 7 mobo

 
Got them about a week ago. Successfully upgraded Aptiva 2168-M53(100Mhz-66 bus) and Presario 4712(166Mhz-66 bus) to 400 Mhz. Bought the PL-ProMMX+ for about $49.95 + shipping from Powerleap and a AMD K62-450 for 39 + tax at a computer show. Benchmarked the CPU with SiSoft Sandra 2001 and showed a marked increase.
