never made pies before and for some reason i feel like making one... so please share your recipe with me 🙂

A baked cheescake is more involved than a refrigerated one.

You will also need a pie crust.

I have a good recipe around here somewhere for cheesecake.

well cheesecake doesn't need actual pie crust(pain to make). u can buy premade pie crust i believe though.

but most cheesecake only requires a crumble crust. basically crushed graham crackers and butter and stuff.... its in the recipes. its retarded easy unlike pie crust.

Banana Cream Pie 1 graham cracker pie crust

1 box instant banana pudding (3 1/2 oz.)
2 cups milk 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 8 oz. carton nondairy whipped topping
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup coconut

Mix vanilla and banana pudding together with milk, add cream cheese and mix with hand mixer until thickened. Place in graham cracker crust and top with whipped topping, sliced bananas and coconut. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving

Truthfully, Marie Callendar's pies are nothing to write home about. The are, for the most part, no better than the substandard pies you can buy in your local gorcery store. Don't waste your money.

They are a definite step up from Albertsons house brand, but agreed they're nothing like made from scratch with a good recipe.

But I did say my lazy recipe. I don't get much vacation time, so I'd rather spend my afternoon reading a book or playing a game than mixing and baking.

theres creme cheese involved in banana creme pies? hmm.... damn, i think i wasted my money on the frozen pie crust...
