Anyone got a Fujitsu Lifebook 400 series?

I have a Lifebook 420D and was wondering if anyone has been successful in getting 128MB of ram to work on this laptop. The manual says it supports up to 72MB of EDO ram(64MB expansion, 8MB onboard). I have heard of people putting in more ram then what the manual says is supported and have had it work with other laptops. If I put in 128MB what would happen if it was not supported? Thanks.
