I have a propsition for ya. I want to try my hand at rebuilding a battery pack. As in replacing the batteries and reconditioning the pack itself.
I was looking to do a Ni-cad battery pack, but I can do a NIMH too.
Here is the deal. I pay you $7 to send it to me. I then try to recondition it. I then send it back to you. If it works, you refund me my $7 and pay me what the batteries cost (probably about $20). If it doesn't work, too bad. It didn't work anyway
since a new pack can cost upwards of $50 for a 9.6 and hit $100 for a 18v, I think it is a steal
I would prefer to do a Dewalt ( or firestorm ), as that is what most contractors have. I would prefer the case be screwed together, but I can try if it is not ( meaning pressed together. )
I only want 1 for now
I would prefer it be a 9.6, 12v 14.4v or 18v dewalt, as those will all work in my dewalt charger. Also, a Ryobi of the 9.6v style or a 12v firestorm will work too. I have chargers for those too.
Thanks!
