$5553 for a system with NO monitor and that performs as well as a system almost half its price- sounds like a steal!

According to Storage Review, the 10k RPM drives beat or tie the 15k drives in the majority of tests. What a waste of money. And even then, SCSI can maintain...what? an extra 10-15MB/sec sustained over the fastest IDE drives? What's the point? I mean for a regular end user...not servers.

edit: if i had 5k to blow right now, it would be spent on some speakers and a nice receiver.

my friend's building a rig like that but w/ an athlon 1.2 ghz and 256mb pc133 ram. everything is EXACTLY the same except the case will be an antec sx830. and it's gonna cost about half that amount. that titan pc is so not worth it

If I had money to blow it would be on a T-Bird 1.2 on a DDR platform.

If all you play is Quake, that P4 would clean up. But there are other games to be played, and that gives Athlon the edge IMO.

Also, if you're spending the bucks on those X15s, what's up with putting IDE DVD and CDRW drives on that thing? DVD maybe, but IDE CDRW? Somebody wasn't thinking.

Otherwise looks nice. But not nearly worth the price.
