Trying to remove the letters from this and still make the wood look natural... anyone want to give it a shot?

you can use the clone and blur tool.

Use the healing tool or patch tool.

why waste all that time...just go to home depot and take a pic of a plank of wood...crop it...bam your done...

That's too much lettering on there to actually have it look decent when done.

Heal brush sucks with wood anyways, it's obvious which patterns are repeated. Heal brush = teh awesome with retouching though.
