I've had 8+ yrs of PC experience but zero w/ Macs. This year I have to set up a Mac lab at an elementary school. I'm fiddling w/ some stuff but can't seem to figure out really basic stuff like setting up multiple user accounts. If anyone has any experience w/ macs, please help me out here. We'll chat through PM or if you are on AIM, I can message you there right now. Thanks.

Well I'm familiar with Linux and if we're talking OS X I might be able to help you via command line since OS X is based of BSD which shares some similarities with Linux.

We're running OSX 10.1 through 10.3. Stupid school ordered the eMacs at various points so we're stuck with various operating system. I'm trying to dual boot 9.x and 10.x on the eMacs and install Mac Manager (which only runs on 9.x). But it's not working either. 10.x has a built in multiple user but I don't think it's easy or as powerful as Mac Manager. I'm not sure if I can understand how to issue command lines in Mac OSX.

there are only like 5 mac users on this forum, im pretty sure your not going to be getting to much information here. try mac ars one of the best place to get some info about macs

im pretty sure the multiuser account in os x can do whatever you want it do. also, os 9 should be pre-installed already if im not mistaken(os x's "classic mode")
