ANyone gonna catch the NBA lottery tomarrow?

I think the lakers should have purposely screwed their record this year and lost all there games to have a shot at lebron. Oh well, there's always next year!

last year the rockets won, and they had the lowest chance. i think it'd be interesting if say, Golden State got #1 (Lebron). Then we'd get to see plenty of Kobe vs Lebron (i wonder who'll win)

Did kobe ever play lebron in the off season? I know Jordan did.

the lottery might be rigged, and cleaveland doesnt exactly have a large basketball market in comparison to others.

the Nuggets never draft higher than they're supposed to🙁

I hope we get the #2 pick...I'd rather have carmelo than lebron

Since 85, the team with the worst record has yet to win the lottery. Given that unscientific fact, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles (Clippers), and Memphis have the best shot at him, given that Cleveland and Denver were tied with the worst record.

Go Toronto! The draft is at 8pm tonight. Actually, if any of you are interested here's a link on how the lottery draft system works. I never knew they did it like this. Here are some links now: link1 , link2 , link3

For those that don't care to read it, here's a rundown. Here are the chances for each team of getting the #1 pick:
Nuggets (225 chances), Cavaliers (225), Toronto (157), Miami (120), the Los Angeles Clippers (89), Memphis (64), Chicago (44), Atlanta (29), New York (15), Washington (14), Golden State (7), Seattle (6) and Houston (5) also have a shot at picking No. 1

Now what happens is that each team gets a number combination for each chance. So the Nuggets will get 225 different combinations and Houston will get 5 different combinations.

Then they release the little balls from the ball machine ( i think 3 balls). Whoever's combination matches that wins. So if the balls 14, 11, and 3 were released then the team with number 14113 wins.

Oddly enough, the odds are against the team with the worst record of obtaining the #1 pick. Only 2 teams since 1985 have won the draft having the worst record.

who knows... the what nuggetts and cavs have the best chance of winning it, doesnt mean they will, i will watch it just so I Know who is getting Lebron 🙂

It's been all downhill for the Cavs ever since they picked Danny Ferry!?! I'll be ecstatic if the Cavs get LeBron...but I'll be happy with Carmelo too.

just as rigged today as when the knicks got patrick ewing

Definitely watching. I believe if you work out the odds the Knicks have about a 10% chance of getting one of the top three picks.

I am impressed that writers of the articles for regular sports fans think highly enough of the readership to explain in detail the drawing process.
