anyone gonna attend / attended your buddy's graduation ceremony?

I was just wondering...

so how was it? was the ceremony boring? was there a celebration party afterwards? It wouldn't make sense to throw a Bachelor Party because my friend just got his Bachelor Degree right? [retorical question, don't answer 🙂]

I went back to my college town to party with him for a couple of days/nights, but no I didn't go to the actual ceremony.

I wish I would have gone to my buddy's graduation, but alas I was a dickhead and didn't. I can only hope he'll go to mine if and when i finally graduate.

well, i graduated last year. people who attended didn't bring anything, and i wouldnt' have even expected them to, simply cause you have quite a bit on your mind at that point and you care more about their presence.

it's the most freakin' boring ceremony- across the board- you could ever attend. if its taking place in some big outdoorsy place bring a book or an ipod or something. but be there, it means a lot.

It's going to be boring as hell, but cool gifts are nice. When a buddy of mine graduiated I got him some real chicago deep-dish pizza cause all the pizza places near our school are absolute crap and I wanted him to have the real thing before going back to pakistan.

Thought I'd bump this thread. I'm only a sophomore in high school and I'm going to my friend's graduation which is this Friday, or looking at the time, today. LOL. Anyways, its crazy. There is about 700 or so seniors and they all meet up at this big horse racetrack that we live by. It's insane and packed. Go Arcadia High School class of 2004!

My friend wants me to attend his graduation tomorrow, but I'm not going to because he's just "graduating" from junior college. I can't believe ppl put on caps and gowns just to get frickin' Associates degrees. Also, the time conflicts with a HackMaster game I'm in (I play a 9th level thief; only about 30,000 EPs from leveling).
