<< IMO that show is essentially a novelty act, and I guess they have to ratchet it up somewhat to keep whatever audience they still have. I have always felt shock value was the main thing that made that show in any way interesting. >>
That show has more intellectual humor than A LOT of shows on TV these days. >>
That may be so, but I can't help but compare it to the Simpsons, which has worlds more depth. I have a hard time sitting through a whole episode of SP, whereas I can watch the Simpsons over and over and over and still find things to laugh at. In all fairness the Simpsons is the only show I watch week in and week out, as I find most TV dull.
