I waited too long and can't get tickets to the tournament dates.

I'm thinking about going to the practice rounds though.

Think that will be fun/interesting?

I've been trying to get my buddy to give up his ticket for Friday, but no go yet.

Yes. Not only will there be smaller crowd to deal with, but you can usually shoot pics at practice rounds. Better than not going at all IMO.
