Anyone going to the NEW YORK STATE FAIR???

Sooo, any of you northeast ATOTers going to attend the New York State Fair this year?

I am going tomorrow (it is "one price ride all day" so my 3 y.o. son can go on all the kiddie rides he wants 😉 ). This will be my 17th NYS fair!!!!!!! (not in a row, unfortunately)

I used to spend an entire week up there (the week ending in labor day) for the state championships of MICROD RACING (like go-karts). Now I get sad and nostalgic when i walk by the little track by the horsebarns and see only the clunky "pay to ride" go-karts and no more organized kids racing.......ah well.

Anybody gonna go?

I went years ago. Grew up on a farm in Ohio, family was taking the pigs on the show circuit or something. I like fairs - mmm, fair food.

where is this being held?

 

I'll be there a couple times for fair food. Then later next week for a concert.

Usually its held in Syracuse, NY. God i havent been there for like 5 years only cause i dont like taking the bus for 7 hrs from Boston all the way back to syracuse during school...
