LULZ, I got an android charm, and they weren't giving them away...

Played with an EVO and a My Touch slide, bot were pretty slick.

The HTC floks hadn't seen Froyo yet and were interested in my N1.

I benched an EVO, downloaded the app from the marketplace on someone's personal EVO and got 526.

JS80, it was a sausage fest, but I chatted up a couple of women that were serving stuff (actually, they corralled me, I was wearing my scrubs, and they all had children or were themselves going to school in the medical field) I'm sort of kind of taken, so it was fun, but a little frustrating :(

Got a bunch of free drinks....

The beef kebabs were pretty good. And the guacamole hors d'oeuvres was good.

Nice. I didn't go to the NYC one. Lazy and the weather/humidity was horrible with no real chance of rain.

friend and I went to the NYC one...got some tshirts but didn't win any phones. they gave away a mytouch slide, an incredible, an evo, and an hd2. pretty fun overall. met a few guys who do nexus one themes/skins and recognized their names from xda.

also, standing in line before was pretty funny. lots of girls would walk up curious what was going on..the convo would go something like this:

girl: hey, what are you guys waiting here for?
us: its an HTC event!
girl: what's HTC?
us: its a phone manufacturer *whips out nexus one* see?
girl: *backing away slowly* oh...thanks...



PS you suck for winning the EVO. do you even have sprint service?

Heck yea. I'm the biggest sprint promoter. Also own 10k shares of sprint stock.

LOL, the secret word was "free drinks" and you could have gotten them in, I didn't RSVP or anything...
