anyone going to E3 this year?

After 9 years of attending the show for free, my admission was denied this year due to their new 'stricter' standards of letting people in the show...though I am eligible for the type 4 registration, which now costs $650!

I need an invitation!

In all seriousness though, I'm just wondering if anyone else who typically has attended was able to get in this year.

$650 Should be worth it since only the selected haha

Maybe 10 years ago it would have been, but not now.

Yeah...especially now that they are cracking down on booth babes. 😉

It's not even that. It's that it has become a public event, and nothing cool happens any more. It's basically just a big hall with some game demos. No free giveouts either.

Gotta be media to get the good stuff.

I know someone who "works" for E3. Last time I talked to her she said she was working on some kinda proposition thingy for it or something.

I don't really like her very much so I didn't bother to really listen to what she was saying cause all it sounded like was her saying "I'm so awesome cause I do all these amazing thing..look at me look at me!". Blah...annoying conceited biotch. >___<

Hint: It is retardedly easy to get a free press pass to e3. It just requires a bit of creativity and a big enough set of balls to go to LA the day of the show and take the chance that they'll accept your "credentials."

Its not fort knox...its a trade show.

i've been going for the past three years and i qualified again this year..

The part I hate most is paying 20 bucks for parking.
