Anyone get their new Pernyn's yet?

Still waiting on mine to ship. It seems to be in Memphis. I'm a little upset cause I paid 18 dollars for 2-3 day shipping but its going to take 4+ days said Fedex (by est. delivery date).

Anyone get theres? How is it?! I can' waiiiiit!!!!

Call Apple. They may refund your shipping charge.

My MBP just started shipment last night. I think it's still in Shanghai. I can't wait!

Yea.. I ordered a new Santa Rosa when those came out, and it took a few days to ship out, but I picked the standard shipping so it was acceptable to me.

I'll echo Mr Transistorm, call Apple and complain.

Mine is shipping today as well. Fedex will probably receive the thing today to ship. I paid 15 bucks for the expedited shipping as well so I'll give em 3 days from today to get it to me. We'll see what happens.

Mine actually got here on Monday (ordered it Thursday) so I'm cool with it. My pritner and time capsule havetn arrived but i dont care about those as much.

I kept missing the fedex guy so im gonna drive to the distro center tonight to pick it up.
i cant wait!!!

Got mine. It was weird because on the outside (Fed Ex) box apple put two packing slip orders addressed to two different people, with their full name, addy, everything.

Should I be worried? Did I get the wrong MBP? The specs seem to be alright but will this affect serial/registration?

BTW new Pernyns are BEAUTIFUL. This is my frist Mac, its incredible. I can't wait to load it up in Windows and see how games do.

Umm.. you can check the invoice online and see if they match. If they don't match, it won't affect registration, but you won't have a matching invoice for return, so you might want to rectify that with a phone call, if they don't match.

I got my old 2nd gen MBP replaced and the new Pernyn based MBP (2.5GHz w/6MB Cache) is a lot faster. Both in booting to 10.5.2 and running programs in general. Programs that used to take two bounces or more now load in one bounce or two. The new keyboard feels a bit softer as well. I haven't messed with the new trackpad yet but I am sure it will be a hoot to use.

Got mine Monday morning. Runs nice and cool - very comfortable on the lap even at full load...and great battery life. I'm quite pleased. Swapped in a 200GB 7200RPM drive and 4GB of ram and man is it fast.

Just got mine right now. Awesome. Quick question. I ordered applecare with my machine, but didn't receive a physical package concerning it. Only the MBP box. Is it assumed that the applecare is just with the machine? Or is that probably being shipped to me separately as a physical box?

Did you order from Apple's online store? I believe when you order a Mac and Applecare at the same time from Apple Online you are automatically enrolled.

If you go to this page, you can enter your serial number and check your warranty status.
