No way...that card wouldn't help me much with my 1280x1024 monitor.

I just want an R520 for excellent frames, and all the goodies on at 1280x1024. That's good enough for me...and I hope to get a coupla years of service out of it.

you won't need an r520 for that. Any current-gen high end card should do.

I guess you haven't played Battlefield 2 with all the eye candy maxed out have you?
