Anyone get the Xbox 360 Rock Band Fender Precision Bass Replica?

So I picked one up and Best Buy last week. They had 2 and I snagged one. Works perfectly in RB1 and RB2. If you play bass (real bass, not toy bass) and love RB then get this guitar! I always hated the whammy bar on the other guitars because I mostly play bass in all the GH and RB games and this guitar just feels good. Its much bigger than the other guitar controllers, its a bit heavier and is actually as big as my real fender Strat, but a coupla inches shorter than my real fender Bass. If you are a bass player and love guitar game and play real bass in real life then you will feel at home with this. The split strum bar works great for us bass players who tend to pluck up. Its just a really good fake guitar. 🙂 My only issue with it, and I am sure its most likely Activision, is that it just doesnt work right in GH:WT. I normally play GH:WT bass on hard or expert and every 10th hit will miss. Like the game just doesnt register really fast bass notes. My RB and GH guitars work great in GH:WT but this bass doesnt jive, but its not an issues with me as I like RB and RB2 much better than GH:WT. Maybe a patch will come out. Anyway, just my 2 cents. 🙂

I was thinking of picking this up when I saw it at CC today on sale. I probably would have but I'm usually playing guitar in RB since none of my friends like playing faster songs on guitar. How does this work out in really fast bass songs, such as Dream Theater songs or anything like that?

I have one, haven't really played it much but the wife likes it. My biggest complaint is the start/back switch. The knob idea is terrible, especially if you want to use it for star power. You can't just stretching out a pinky and push it, you have to move your whole hand, grab and twist.

PS What bass do you play that's the same size? I just held it next to my Fender PBass and it's considerably smaller.

He said it's the same size as his STRAT, but shorter than his bass.

I got them mixed up. Its about the same size as my fender stat guitar but a few inches smaller than my fender 64 bass.
