Happily waiting for my new Dell 1900FP to be delivered, trembling in anticipation (or is that the 10 cups of coffee?)
My one misgiving is that it will not have the pivoting base of its retail counterpart, the Samsung 191t. After reading a number of bubbling reviews of using the monitor in portrait mode, I am beginning to feel quite left out. I know I'm going to end up feeling like the mopey kid who hates his new mountainbike just 'cause it didn't have the shiny silver bell the other guys got.
So I got to wondering, any ingenious AT'ers out there come up with a way to pivot their 1900FP? Perhaps buying a base from Samsung and switching them out, or hacked together their own solution?
