I ordered one this morning to replace my slow as hell galaxy Tab 2 7". It was extremely slow and the latest firmware made it even slower. The specs and reviews on the Memo HD were good and the price was even better. I ordered it for price then screen then SD card slot then Musb cable. All pluses in my book.

i was about to till i found out so many people like the Hisense Pro 7.
for $130, Hisense is the cheapest with all the features i want...microSD, HDMI, gps, bluetooh, and even NFC! i got it from walmart and couldnt be happier. it is buttery smooth so far without force close nor lag.

Mine came in a few hours ago. First impression is how fast this thing is compared to my Galaxy Tab 2 7". Then the screen, which looks great, then I loaded up my standard music apps and movie apps, then I notice how shitty the sound was until I found ASUSs sound setting app which improved it greatly but still too low for my taste so I installed EQ from the store and that app doesnt work on this tab. Its used to work on my Tab 2 but the latest update killed it on that tablet too. Hopefully the developer will fix that. Then i noticed that Netflix was fubared. So, I did the system update and that fixed netflix but I still with the sound was louder. Overall I am impressed with the tablet especially for the price. One thing that dig bug me is that there is no sensor for ambient light. But my other 2 tablets, while they had it, it never really worked anyway.

I might pick one up in a few weeks. It's not so different from the original Nexus 7 (which is still pretty good) but with a better display.

I almost bought one when Amazon.com offered 20% off up to $100 for Amazon cc holders.

How is the build quality?

Build quality is fine. I'm having problems with the low sound. I'm hating JB 4.2.2.on this as it cripples the sound levels. Looking at root room options.
