Anyone get something from Amazon's Returns Center?

I bought a present on Amazon, the item was ordered from them, not a third party. I received the package today and the return address is the Amazon Returns Center.
I did a search on what this might mean, but as far as I can tell it means I received a customer return.
Has this happened to anyone else or do you know what it means?

No, the box was unopened and the item was in its original packaging and sealed in a plastic bag. There's no way to tell if it was refurbed or opened before without taking it out of the packaging which I'm not going to do since it's a gift.

Was it a small item and did they ship it in a type of packaging which basically consists of two large pieces of vanilla paper with bubble wrap foam stuck together?

If so then that's their new packaging for small items. I bought a new iPod nano from them and that's how it came in with.

It's probably done that way so that if you reject the package it goes back to the returns department instead of the shipping group.

it's not from Amazon but from a 3rd party who has their system setup to look like it. They probably have the Amazon Returns Center loaded as the shipper's name in their software. Doesn't mean it is refurb at all.

Yep. Why would they have any other address on there other than their pre-arranged returns center?
