anyone get gpg working with evolution?

I finally set up gpg I can send signed and encrypted email to myself . I can decrypt it fine but I can't verify something when I just sign it. It's been a while since I used gpg.

edit: I sent a signed message to myself from kmail and evolution detected it's sig correctly, weird
