2004 Mercury Grand Marquis
2004.5 Volvo S40
1957 VW Beetle

The beetle is a project since it's not legal yet. I daily drive the F-150 and the Merc is our weekend car/road tripper. My wife dailies the Volvo.

I was super pissed this weekend when I was replacing the cabin air filter on the Volvo. The idiots designed the placement with a RHD car in mind so you necessarily need to pull the accelerator pedal and some dash paneling to get to it. Needless to say I've got bloodied knuckles for my efforts. I've never been so mad at that car, I had visions of trading it in on a new 5.0 and letting my wife drive the Mercury instead. Then I remembered how much I hate car payments.

There's always something. I do the best I can but being gone for weeks at a time (and when I get home the last thing I want to is wrench) I tend to prioritize. Between the cars, trucks, motorcycles. travel trailers, towable equipment, utility trailers and horse trailer I've got almost 60 tires on the ground with weight on them. Just keeping those up to sidewall pressure is a chore:D Spent some time at home this year and got somewhat caught up. Let a few things go until my job stabilizes and I am comfortable spending the money. The upside of having all that crap is if one goes down there is always a spare.
